Referral Process Referrals are typically made by teachers, childcare providers, physicians, and parents. Atlantic Speech Therapy offers free speech and language screenings which will then determine whether or not a more in depth evaluation is needed. Once the evaluation is completed and the treatment plan is developed a report is shared with the parent, physician, and any other individual involved in the child’s therapy.
